In addition to offering a selection of classic cookies, we also listen to and meet our customers’ needs and tastes by making customizable cookies imagined by you, the customer! I spent a short time working in the pharmaceutical industry hoping I was making a difference in the world. What I needed was to know that my end customer (whoever that abstract person was) had a better quality of life because of the work I was doing.

How does this relate to Crust and Crumbs Bakery? I know that a good cookie, especially on a bad day with a glass of cold milk, can improve a person’s quality of life – even if for a short while, by making them smile.

Given our current economic environment, people have asked me if I was completely crazy – to leave a high paying job in California to return to my native state of Michigan (in the winter) and open a bakery. I always agree that Yes, I am a little crazy, but I think my cookies are worth it and I hope you will too!

Crust and Crumbs Bakery is proud to be baking in the great state of Michigan and I hope you will visit our beautiful little corner of the world sometime soon!

Crust and Crumbs Bakery is the result of a lot of hard work from family and friends alike. In addition to simple encouragement (frequently on a near-hourly basis), we wouldn’t be in business without the help of some particularly amazing people.
